Born and raised in Seattle, Leonard David Raymundo began his career in the technology industry, resolving highly complex issues on projects around the world. Although he appreciated the opportunity and experiences afforded to him by the role – including great compensation and a high frequency of international travel – Leonard never felt fulfilled in his work. Over time, he found himself drawn more and more to his creative instincts.
Since his youth, Leonard Raymundo’s friends, families, and educators consistently singled him out for his aptitude with a pen.
This recognition was often than simple praise – Leonard has long been the go-to guy amongst his peers for writing anything of importance. Because he loves the act of writing, Leonard was always happy to help out, whether that meant writing fun and engaging event invitations or helping a friend craft a crucial work email. Eventually, Leonard came to embrace his passion, and he initiated an intense, self-led development of his skills. When he exhausted the available resources for independent education, Leonard David Raymundo elected to study at the School of Visual Concepts, where he learned from some of the advertising industry’s greatest leaders and innovators.
Shortly after completing his formal training, a graphic designer familiar with Leonard’s work tapped him for a project. This one project led to a number of others, and he elected to pursue his passion full-time. With more than five years of marketing and digital content creation under his belt, Leonard excels at writing to sell, generate followers/leads, and transform customers into fans.
Outside of work, Leonard David Raymundo is an avid, lifelong sports fan. Supporting local teams shaped his formative years, and he continues to write about sports (both personally and professionally). Deeply devoted to his local teams, he loves the sense of community that sports foster. Leonard is also passionate about travel, backpacking, and exploration. A sincere believer in the value of intercultural exchange and wandering, he continues to adore traveling and particularly crossing international borders. Beyond simply observing different places and communities around the world, however, Leonard advocates for investing real time and effort into new places to more fully begin to appreciate their unique beauty.
